Recognizing our Retirees: Donna Noble

Today, we recognized another of our retiring staff members: Donna Noble from St. Matthew Catholic School in Rocky Mountain House.

Stepping Into a New Chapter:
"I started at St. Matthew Catholic School, in 1995 covering a maternity leave, teaching an energetic all-boys Grade 5 class - a memorable experience! This was great practice for me as we had four boys of our own over the years. The following year, I found my true teaching home in Grade 2, where I remained for the rest of my career.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible colleagues who have become like family, and I’ve been especially proud to watch all five of my children grow up and graduate within RDCRSD. After just over three decades in education, I’m stepping away from full-time teaching—but not saying goodbye.

As I move into this next chapter, I’m looking forward to more time with my family and grandchildren, while continuing to stay connected to the classroom as a substitute teacher. It has truly been a blessing to be part of such a faith-filled and supportive community. We’ve always told our own children, “You get out what you put in”—and I feel deeply fulfilled knowing I lived that out throughout my career. God Bless!”

Thank you, Donna. May God bless you in the next step of your journey.
