Recognizing our Retirees: Jacky Leedholm

Today, we honour another of our upcoming retirees: Jacky Leedholm from Montfort Centre. If you have ever called or visited our head office, there is a strong likelihood that the smiling face you saw or kind voice you heard was Jacky's.
"My career with Red Deer Catholic started on April 11, 2005 when I was poached by Bill Wilson to be our Transportation Dispatcher. Revising the bus routes, booking charters, ensuring bus drivers are booked, etc was a challenging yet rewarding job.
On June 19, 2012 I changed gears and became Montfort Centre’s Receptionist. Booking meeting rooms, running the First Aid Program taking care of my Montfort family and guests plus much much more has been wonderful. Booking and invoicing school gym rentals have given me some grey hair, but it kept me busy and I’ve enjoyed working with all of my awesome School Hosts.
Now it’s time for a new chapter in my life … spending more quality time with my wonderful husband, Jerry, our kids and grandkids. I’m looking forward to more camping, quadding, travelling, and wine o’clock on our deck.
It’s been a pleasure working with so many incredible people, and I will truly miss you.
Thanks for the last 20 years."
Thank you, Jacky, for everything. We hope you have a blessed retirement, but know we will miss you at head office.
