Red Deer Catholic teams up with Google Canada to host "The Gemini Experience"

Earlier this week, Google Canada and Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools collaboratively hosted a "Gemini Experience," an insightful event centered around Google's artificial intelligence, specifically tailored for educators. 

This engaging session took place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, and its primary objective was to explore and demonstrate the potential of AI tools to enhance the daily workflows of individuals within the education sector, ultimately improving their ability to support and advance educational practices. 

Despite inclement weather, the event garnered significant interest and attendance, drawing a diverse group of education professionals from across the province of Alberta. Attendees ranged from Superintendents and teachers to IT specialists, Communication Teams, and Administrative Assistants, all eager to learn about the transformative possibilities offered by AI in their respective roles. The wide representation underscored the keen interest and recognized need for exploring innovative technologies to optimize educational processes and outcomes.
