Did You Know? Hour Zero

This week we've covered four of our school division’s most common safety protocols. 

We hope this has helped you better understand what to expect and, most importantly, how to help us keep our school community safe.

• Evacuation: Move out of the building (internal issue like fire)
• Shelter in Place: Stay in the building (external, non-human threat like severe weather)
• Hold and Secure: Lock the perimeter, continue school life inside (external threat)
• Lock-down: Secure individual rooms, stay quiet, and out of sight (internal threat)
