Catholic Education Week - Monday
Each year, the Catholic School Divisions in Alberta engage in a week-long celebration of the unique identity and distinctive contributions of Catholic education during Catholic Education Week. This year’s celebration is entitled, “Testify: Share stories of Hope.” The theme was inspired in joyful anticipation of the 2025 Jubilee Year’s theme “Pilgrims of Hope,” and celebrating and sharing our stories of the impact of Catholic Education. With open hearts of love, we prepare ourselves for this celebration with the reminder that we are all called to love God and each other.
The subtheme for today is “A Word of Hope”
As people of Hope. To truly live with joy in this world, we need the theological virtue of hope. Hope is rooted deeply in our faith as it is a relationship of trust in God. As we gather as a faith community in prayer, let us reflect on how our actions and words reflect who we are as people of hope. Let us pray…
