École Secondaire Notre Dame High School football player taking talents to national stage

We're excited to share some incredible news from École Secondaire Notre Dame High School!

Senior Cougars Football Team member Ben McAuley has been selected to participate in the prestigious 2025 CFC Prospect Game in Hamilton, Ontario, later this month. Ben is among the top 72 high school football players in Canada invited to this annual showcase, presented by Canadafootballchat.com (CFC) and TSN. As one of only 10 players from Alberta and 12 wide receivers chosen, this is a significant achievement.

Ben qualified for the game after attending a rigorous CFC Evaluation Camp in Calgary, where he demonstrated his athleticism in events like the 40-yard dash and various jumps. This opportunity provides a national platform for talented young players, with past participants going on to play at both NCAA and U Sports levels, and even entering the CFL draft. The CFC Prospect Game will take place on Saturday, May 24, at Hamilton Stadium, with team rosters being announced on May 20.
