World Teachers' Day

Today, on World Teachers' Day, October 5, 2025, we pray:

Oh Lord, our God, we come before You today in gratitude for our teachers. We thank You for their unwavering dedication and commitment to educating and molding the minds of our youth, especially during challenging times.

We ask that You bless them with wisdom and guidance as they continue to inspire and educate the next generation. May they be filled with patience, compassion, and understanding as they navigate the challenges of their profession.

We specifically pray for a swift and equitable resolution to the current teachers' strike. May all parties be granted the wisdom, humility, and desire for common ground to reach an agreement that honours our educators and allows them to return to their classrooms where they are needed and loved.

We pray that You continue to strengthen their resolve and renew their spirits. May they find joy and fulfillment in their essential work and be justly rewarded for their efforts.
