The Spirit of Giving is alive in Red Deer!
Because of a wonderful partnership between The Mustard Seed (Red Deer) and Central Alberta Co-op (Deer Park & Timberlands), more than 240 families within Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools and Red Deer Public Schools will have a full Thanksgiving meal this weekend.
Thanksgiving hampers, which are being distributed today, included a turkey, all the classic fixings (carrots, potatoes, stuffing), and a special sweet treat.
A heartfelt thank you to all the school administrators, teachers, and staff who worked tirelessly to coordinate the logistics and ensure these hampers reached the families who needed them.
