Expand Image
Join us in celebrating Sandy Ashcroft, one of our amazing educators! Before her incredible journey with Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools, Sandy taught Grade 1 at Rockyview School Division.

Within RDCRS, she's touched countless lives across various grades and schools: Holy Family School (Grade 5), St. Martin de Porres School (Grades 3 & 3/4), St. Patrick's Community School (Grade 2), St. Teresa of Avila School (Kindergarten, Pre-K, Grade 1, Grade 5, & Grade 4/5), St. Elizabeth Seton School (Pre-K), and the RDCRS Online Summer School (Religious Studies 25)

"My heart is full of gratitude for all who have touched my life along my 23-year journey!

To the parents of RDCRS ... thank you for sharing your most precious gifts with me!

To my students ... don't ever stop learning! Your life is your story and only you can write it! I was blessed to have been a small part of it and I can't wait to meet up with you one day to see how your future chapters unfold!

To my colleagues ... thank you for your influence, advice, and wisdom that shaped the teacher I became. You work so passionately in the classroom and always give so selflessly to the profession you are meant for. I am now your supporter on the other side, and will always be your #1 advocate!

To RDCRS ... thank you for the opportunity 23 years ago! You have provided memories and friendships to last my lifetime!"

Thank you, Sandy, for your dedication and commitment to our students. Enjoy your retirement.
