Donation to support Mustard Seed's School Lunch Program

Last Wednesday, Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools Board Chair Murray Hollman and Superintendent Dr. Rhonda Nixon presented The Mustard Seed Red Deer's Senior Development Officer Scott Tilbury and Donor Specialist Edie Harris with a cheque for $30,000 in support of the Mustard Seed's School Lunch Program. 

Last year, the program provided 24,561 lunches to students at Red Deer Catholic schools - that's approximately 600 lunches per week. 

Teachers, students, and family members from across the division also routinely volunteer their time at the Mustard Seed and support it through fundraising events.
